Aaron L. and Carolyn Brody Endowed Fund » Donate Online

Created by family and friends of Dr. Aaron L. Brody and Carolyn Brody in recognition of Dr. Brody's life-long achievements in food packaging. Expendable funds will be used to establish and fund the "Aaron Brody Distinguished Lecture in Food Packaging" which is an annual event hosted by the School of Packaging.

Alumni Association's Director's Discretionary Fund » Donate Online

Started by and funded through the Packaging Alumni Association and School of Packaging alumni. The expendable funds generated are available to the Director of the School to use at his/her discretion for scholarships, instrument purchase and repair, faculty development, travel to conferences, and other activities.

Cheryl Gilliam Endowed Scholarship » Donate Online

This scholarship is for students who are enrolled at the second year level in the School of Packaging who intend to pursue a career in the field. The recipient is required to have completed a 300 level packaging course. This scholarship will be awarded to packaging students who have exhibited passion and excitement for the field of packaging. Cheryl Gilliam is an alumnus of the School.

Chester and Marilyn Mackson Endowed Scholarship » Donate Online

This award is intended to encourage students who have demonstrated the capacity to achieve educational and professional goals, the motivation to achieve these goals, and the initiative to seek opportunities to further their progress. Dr. Chester Mackson was Director of the School of Packaging from 1977 to 1986.

Dwight Schmidt Endowed Scholarship » Donate Online

This scholarship is governed by the Packaging Alumni Assocation and for the last several years has been used to provide scholarships to incoming freshmen and transfer students who plan to matriculate in fall semester at MSU and major in Packaging. Applications are sent to prospective students afater they are admitted to MSU.

Laura Anne Polakowski Endowed Scholarship » Donate Online

Established to remember Laura Anne Polakowski. Laura was an active member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. She also felt very fortunate to have graduated with a degree in Packaging, a degree that would serve her well in her professional career. This endowment is designed to benefit worthy and capable students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs in the Packaging program. It is the donor's intent that this award go to a female member of the Sigma Kappa sorority enrolled in Packaging.

Mark and Catherine Walchak Endowment » Donate Online

Mark Walchak attended and graduated from the MSU School of Packaging in 1970. Mark and his wife, Cathy, established this endowment to provide an educational opportunity in packaging for students who have overcome significant obstacles during their lives and/or have a severe financial need and/or students interested in the environmental aspects of packaging.

Paul & Joanne Peoples Endowed Scholarship » Donate Online

This award is intended for adults returning to higher education at MSU for baccalaureate or advanced degree, with a preference to those indicating interest in Packaging. Paul Peoples is a long time friend and colleague of the School.

Paul Singh Endowed Scholarship » Donate Online

This endowment was established by Dr. Sher Paul Singh, Professor in the School of Packaging. It is awarded to the most deserving candidate pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Packaging. Preference given to students conducting research in the area of shock and vibration/distribution packaging.

Pioneers of Packaging » Donate Online

Established by Dr. James Goff and his wife, Genevieve, this fund is used to improve the teaching and research programs of the School of Packaging. This includes such activities as equipment and instrument purchases, visiting faculty, guest speakers, assistantships, and research funding for faculty or graduate students. Dr. Goff was the first instructor in the School of Packaging which began in 1952. He served as Director of the School from 1966 to 1976.
