Announcing:
PACKAGING EXECUTIVES FORUM III:
January 26, 2010
The timing of this forum is perfect to meet Dr. Hotchkiss since he will have been with us for almost four months and, while it's been a whirlwind as the College faces re-organization, budget reductions and new developments related to our Center for Packaging Innovation and Sustainability, he will enjoy sharing with you all that has taken place on these fronts. Learn his vision for the school and obtain full details about he center's mission, governance, and membership potential.
Together with faculty and administrators from the Colleges of Engineering and Business-Supply Chain you will learn about current research projects related to new materials innovation and sustainable initiatives taking place at MSU, and the role these units will have as collaborative partners in the Center.
Through other presentations you will learn about some proven practices that have met sustainability challenges through packaging innovation and obtain information on recent developments and trends related to sustainability on a global scale.
Lastly, this is a working meeting and you will have an opportunity to speak. Offer your voice to esentially say these are our research needs, concerns and challenges, how do we get the answers and direction needed. And, what role will the School play, given the new Center, in providing those answers.
Dr. Hotckiss will host a reception at the end of the day.
Your input and participation is important to us thus, the fee has been intentionally set low to encourage and assist in your attendance.
Fee: $250
cancellation fees: $50 up to Jan. 12; $100 after Jan 12. No refunds after Jan. 18.
Note: The event is, again, being held the day before the start of our Spring Career Fair taking place January 27 & 28. |
