Erin Sarzynski, MD, MS, earned an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Michigan State University and a Master of Science degree in entomology from the University of Florida.  She received her medical degree from MSU College of Human Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at MSU, graduating in 2010. She completed the Sparrow/MSU Geriatric Fellowship in 2011 and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Geriatric Medicine. Presently, Dr. Sarzynski is an Assistant Professor in the MSU Department of Family Medicine, Geriatrics Division.  She has a dual position in the Institute for Health Policy at MSU.  Dr. Sarzynski practices as an internist and geriatrician, and her research interests include medication management, health literacy, health information technology, and transitional care.
