Fabiola completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2008 and my Master’s Degree in 2011 with the thesis: "Diffusion studies of catechin and epicatechin from polylactic acid films and physicochemical characterization". She has worked in the food industry in special projects development, as laboratory assistant in the department of quality control, and as a sales executive and technical support in food additives. Regarding teaching experience, she has been professor of Food Packaging course in a recognized university in Mexico.
She is working under direction of Dr. Auras. My research is focus on the study of the release of selective compounds from poly(lactic acid)-nanocomposites into food simulants in order to design poly(lactic acid)-nanocomposites for smart release applications.
