Ronald L. Hendrick will be recommended as dean of Michigan State University’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. If approved by the MSU Board of Trustees, Hendrick’s appointment will be effective July 1, 2016.

Arlington, VA (October 5, 2015) – First place winner of the 2015 Glass Packaging Design Competition at Michigan State University School of Packaging is the student team of Justin Browne, Sydney Gort, Kevin Peters, and David Whaley. The winning team beat out 64 other student teams with their distinctive egg-shaped, clear bottle design for Huy Fong’s Sriracha hot sauce brand.

The MSU team of seniors AnnMarie Yaccarino, Jillian Bickley, Max Skradski, and Genevieve Gagnier won 2nd place for their proposal of a packaging line dedicated to package and ship a fictional pharmaceutical company’s new fast-dissolve OTC product.

Susan E. Selke has been named director of the Michigan State University School of Packaging, effective immediately.
Selke served as acting director from 2007 to 2009 and was serving as associate director at the time of the new appointment. She is a professor in the School of Packaging and an adjunct professor of chemical engineering in the College of Engineering at MSU.
